Rice Pap

Boil Rice in Almond Milk and serve with powdered Nutmeg. (Grabelkover, 1599)

Syrup of Quinces

Quinces are made into a syrup with 12 oz. of the strained juice which is boiled down to half, to which wine, and 9 oz. of Sugar are added, and formed into a Syrup.
  It cools and strengthens the Stomach and is useful for Diarrhea.

Astringent Powder for Diarrhea

  Armenian Earth
  Toasted Rhubarb
1 pound
3 oz.

Used for Diarrhea and Loose bowels.
Dose: half–1 dram (A Physical Vade Mecum, Dispensatory of St. Thomas’s Hospital, 1741)

Styptic Pills

  Alum
  Dragon’s Blood
3 drams
1 dram

Melt the Alum over a fire, stir in the Dragon’s Blood in powder. From each dram, form 10 pills.
  Used for obstinate Diarrhea and Dysentery, especially with Blood. Also Bleeding of the Lungs, Stomach or Bowels. Dose: 5 pills, 3 times daily. (Pharmacopoeia Pauperum, 1718)

Powder of Three Peppers of Galen

  The 3 Peppers
  Ginger
  Annis
  Thyme
  Honey

Form an Electuary. Used for all types of Cold Phlegm diseases including Diarrhea from Cold and Damp.

Infusion for Colitis

  Comfrey leaf
  Agrimony
  Marshmallow leaf
  Cranesbill

Prepare an Infusion. Used for Diarrhea with Mucous. Take a wine-glassful three times daily. (Wonders in Weeds, W. Smith)

Lavangadi Churna

  Ginger powder
  Black Pepper
  Clove
  Nutmeg
  Long pepper
  Sugar

Used for Diarrhea from Cold and Damp with Colic, indigestion and loss of Appetite. (Ayurveda)

Tormentil Decoction for Diarrhea

    Tormentil
    Mastic
    Ginger
    Galangal

Decoct in water down to half. (Gabelhover, 1599)

Troches of Pomegranate Flower

  Pomegranate flower
  Red Earth
  Gum Arabic
  Rose
  Acacia leaf extract
  Tragacanth
  Pomegranate juice

Powder and form Troches with Pomegranate juice.
Used for chronic Diarrhea, including that with Blood. (Unani)
