* Chaturjat Churna consists of equal parts of Dalchini (Cinnamon), Tejpatra (Indian leaf), Ela (Lesser Cardamon) and Nagkesar (Mesua)

Preparation:

Boil the powdered Withania in Milk gently down, then remove from the heat and add the rest in powder and mix.. In another pan boil the Sugar with water to form a Sugar syrup, then add to the herb mix, and boil gently to form a suitable consistency.

Function:

Strengthens Kidneys, Benefits Yang

Use:

1. Impotence
2. Erectile dysfunction
3. Oligospermia
4. Weakness, Fatigue
5. Emaciation
6. Lumbago
7. Osteoarthritis
8. Fibromyalgia
9. Neuromuscular diseases
10. Insomnia

Dose:

5–10 grams twice daily. 1 teaspoon is a common dose.

Comment:

This is an important Ayurvedic medicine to strengthen the Kidneys and increase strength, vigor, vitality and performance. It specifically increase male sexual perofrmance and potency.
However, as it contains Lead and Cinnabar it is one of the Ayurvedic medicines recognised as being potentially dangerous, and therefore these medicines should be omitted. It will still achieve the desired results without these.

Cautions:

As it contains Lead and Mercury (Cinnabar) it is forbidden in developed countries.

Modifications:

1. If made for use in the West, Lead and Cinnabar should be omitted.
2. If desired, Gold leaf can replace Cinnabar (in lesser dose), and Tin Bhasma could replace Lead.
3. Honey can replace Sugar Syrup
