Preparation:

Function:

Clears Heat, Clears Wind-Damp, eases Pain

Use:

1. Gout
2. Arthritis
3. Swelling of the joints
4. Di
fficulty in flexion and extension of the limbs
5. Lower back or waist pain
6. Kidney pain
7. Kidney disease
8. Leukorrhea
9. Spermatorrhea

Dose:

3 pills (1500mg) with hot water or a decoction of Tinospora (Sle tres) and Shilajit (Brag zhun);

Cautions:

1. Avoid in Ptregnancy
2. Not generally used in chidlren

In some sources it is ordered to be taken in a decoction of Tinospora (Sle tres) and Shilajit (Brag zhun); these, therefore, are probably the remaining 2 ingredients intended in the name ‘Catechu 23’.
