* Honey is prepared by boiling with Malmsey Wine until thick

Preparation:

Beat the herbs and gums well together, them mix them with the Honey to form a Confection according to Art.

Function:

Opens Obstructions, clears Phlegm, moves Blood, benefits the Lungs

Use:

Specifically used for Lung conditions with Blood stasis
1. Obstructed Lungs from Phlegm and/or Blood Stagnation
2. Excess hard-to-clear Phlegm
3. Di
fficulty Breathing and Breathlessness

Dose:

1 dram twice daily

Cautions:

None noted

Modifications:

1. If the Lungs are deficient, add Elecampane and Aniseed
2. If the Lung Yin is deficient, add Comfrey and Marshmallow root
