Huang Lian (Coptis)

Huang Bai (Phellodendron)

Phellodendron amurense

Huang Qin (Baical Skullcap)

Scutellaria baicalensis

30 grams ea.

Lu Hui (Aloe)

Aloe vera

Da Huang (Rhubarb)

Rheum palmatum

15 grams ea.

Mu Xiang (Costus)

Aucklandia lappa

4 1⁄2 grams

She Xiang (Musk)

Moschus moschiferus

1 1⁄2 grams

Preparation:

Powder and form Honey pills.

Function:

Clears Heat, drains Fire

Use:

Headache, restlessness, delirium, dark urine, red eyes, big pulse
1. Headache
2. Vertigo
3. Hepatitis
4. Gastritis
5. Cholecystitis
6. Gall Stones
7. Acute Arthritis
8. Severe Acne, Boils, Abscesses
9. Chronic Myelogenous Leukemia
10. Generally good for acute in
flammation with pain

Dose:

Dissolve 6 grams in a decoction of fresh Ginger. It can also be taken as pills with Ginger tea.

Cautions:

1. Not used during Pregnancy
2. Not used in Cold and Weakness of the Digestion
