Fenugreek	Trigonella foenum-graecum
Raisins	Vitis vinifera	equal parts

Preparation:

Decoction

Function:

Clears Cold Phlegm, Strengthens the Lungs, Stops Cough and Wheezing

Use:

1. Asthma
2. Difficulty Breathing
In these conditions it is said to “give relief immediately”

Dose:

Give “generous doses” of it warm, several times per day

Cautions:

None noted

Modifications:

1. Decoction for Asthma (Zacharia) adds Fig, Date, Celery seed, Fennel seed, Maidenhair, Licorice, Hyssop, Horehound. Some of these can be added to make it stronger.
