Fennel seed

Foeniculum vulgare

Aniseed

Pimpinella anisum

equal parts

Preparation:

Decoct, strain then add Honey

Function:

Clears Cold Phlegm, stops Cough

Use:

1. Cold-type Cough
2. ‘Wet’ Cough
3. Chronic Cough
4. Bronchitis
5. Whooping Cough
6. Spasmodic Cough

Dose:

a small cupful 2 or 3 times daily

Cautions:

None noted

Modifications:

Licorice or Raisins would be a good addition to sweeten and strengthen the Lungs.
