1⁄2 oz.

Motherwort

Leonurus cardiaca

Fennel seed

Foeniculum vulgare

2 drams ea.

Preparation:

Boil in a quart of wine, covered for a short time. Strain, and let her drink it until finished. Then tie Balm and Fennel seed, of each 2 drams, in a cloth, and infuse it in her daily drink. Use new herbs every 3 days. This can be continued 4 or more months.

Function:

Benefits the Uterus, stops Bleeding, prevents Miscarriage

Use:

1. Threatened Miscarriage;
2. Bleeding during Pregnancy
