Lily of the Valley flowers

Convallaria majalis

1 handful ea.

Fennel seed

Foeniculum vulgare 

6 drams

Aloeswood

Aquillaria agallocha

3 scruples

Preparation:

Steep the Sarsaparilla for 24 hours in 2 quarts of water, then boil down to half, adding the seeds and flowers towards the end; add the Aloeswood at the very end, allowing it to steep until half-cool.

Function:

opens Obstructions, clears Heat, regulates Qi

Use:

Apoplexy

Dose:

5–6 oz. every morning with Cinnamon water
