Self Heal

Prunella vulgaris

1 handful ea.

Rose

Rosa gallica

St. John’s wort

Hypericum perforatum

1⁄2 handful ea.

Preparation:

Prepare a standard Decoction

Function:

Clears Heat, stops Bleeding

Use:

1. Hemoptysis
2. any type of Bleeding associated with Heat

3. may be used as an adjunct for Lung Cancer

Dose:

2–4 oz.

Comment:

This is a simplified version of the original, given because it is quite practical for modern use in this form. It is an expanded version of Mr. Boyles Syrup (Syrup of Plantain and Comfrey)
