Ginger

Zingiber officinalis

Galangal

Alpina officinarum

4 drams ea.

Mastic

Pistacia lentiscus

Myrrh

Commiphora molmol

2 drams ea.

Honey

Mel

1 lb.

Vinegar

Acetum

1 oz.

Preparation:

Boil the Honey with the vinegar gently until the vinegar has evaporated, removing the scum as it rises then add the herbs in powder and mix well.

Function:

Clears Cold Phlegm, moves Qi, warms the Stomach, benefits Digestion

Use:

1. Poor appetite
2. Indigestion
3. Nausea
4. Colic, Wind
5. Cold-type Abdominal Pain

Dose:

1 dram, up to 3 drams
