Preparation:

Powder and form Pills

Function:

Clears Lung Heat, Stops Cough

Use:

“particularly well this medicine destroys heat nyan [Epidemic or Infectious Disease] and cures Lung Heat”
Strong Cough, fluid in the Lungs, Fever, stabbing pain in the Chest, shortness of breath, yellow-red sputum
1. Lung Heat Cough

2. Infectious or Epidemic disease affecting the Lungs
3. Bronchitis
4. Asthma

5. Hemoptysis
6. Difficulty Breathing or Shortness of Breath
7. Inflammations of the Lungs
8. Pneumonitis

Dose:

2–3 grams with warm water

Cautions:

Not used during Pregnancy

Modifications:

1. As in the second version, some versions omit Bezoar.
2. If there is Heat, add Gar nag (Burnt Boar feces) 30 grams, Sle tres (Tinospora) 30 grams), Sgog thal (Garlic ashes) 30, Dza ma (Jasminum grandiflorum) 20 grams.
