Preparation:
Infuse in 1 quart (1.1 liter) of Alcohol (40%), or Vodka.
Allow to steep for 2 weeks, shaking daily, then strain and keep.
Function:
Opens Obstructions, cleanses and regulates Digestion, Promotes Circulation
Use:
1. Used as a Bitter tonic to stimulate Digestion
2. Stomach bloating, Indigestion
3. Resists Poison
4. Promotes Menstruation
5. In general can be used as Swedish Bitters.
Dose:
1 teaspoonful (5 mls) on wugar, in wine, or in a little warm water.
Cautions:
Not used during Pregnancy
Modifications:
1. To penetrate more effectively, to open obstructions, and for Fever, Camphor can be added.
Similar Formulas:
This is similar to Swedish Bitters. The proportions of each medicine is different, and Swedish Bitters contains Venice Theriac and Camphor.,
