Preparation:

Prepare the Garnet; powder the herbs finely and mix in the Garnet. It can be made into a confection with Rose Vinegar and Honey.

Function:

Clears Heat, Resists Poison

Use:

Preservative against infection during Epidemics and Plague

Dose:

1–2 scruples, usually taken on a piece of toast; 1⁄2–1 dram of the confection
