The Chinese Pen Tsao Kang Mu listed Fossil Crabs to promote Labor and cleanse the Afterbirth. It was said to Induce Miscarriage.. It is also regarded as Alexipharmic, used for Mineral, Metal and Vegetable Poisons. The finely levigated powder was applied to Opacities of the Eyes.
