Nelumbo nucifera

60 grams

Fu Ling (Poria)

Poria cocos

150 grams

Preparation:

Powder and form Honey pills.

Function:

Strengthens Spleen and Kidneys, Stops Leakage, Stabilizes Essense, Benefits Heart

Use:

1. Spermatorrhea
2. Premature ejaculation
3. Diabetes mellitus
4. Diabetes insipidus
5. Hypoadrenocorticism (Adrenal weakness)
6. Prostatitis with polyuria
7. Lumbago
8. Fatigue with weakness
9. Enuresis
10. Leukorrhea
11. Irritable Bowels Syndrome
12. Calms the Heart, Mind and Spirit

Dose:

6–9 grams two or three times daily with warm water.

Cautions:

Do not use in Constipation

Modifications:

1. Severe deficiency with marked Cold (Yang deficiency) add Cinnamon (Rou Gui) and prepared Aconitum Fu Zi.
2. With Deficient Heat, add Phellodendron Huang Bai, Anemarrhena Zhi Mu.
3. Spermatorrhea or Premature Ejaculation, add Oyster shell (Mu Li) and Fossil Bone (Long Gu)
