Chen Xiang (Aloeswood)

Aquilaria sinensis

240 grams ea.

Huang Qin (Scutellaria)

Scutellaria baicalensis

15 grams

* Chlorite (Meng Shi) is calcined for use

Preparation:

Powder and form pills with water.

Function:

Purges Heat, Resolves Phlegm

Use:

Stifling sensation in the chest, cough and wheezing with thick sputum, yellow greasy tongue coating, rapid and strong pulse.
1. Mania
2. Psychosis
3. Manic Depression
4. Schizophrenia
5. Palpitations with Anxiety
6. Hysteria
7. Anxiety disorder
8. Childhood Convulsions
9. Asthma
10. Acute Bronchitis
11. Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease.
12. Esophageal Cancer

Dose:

6–9 grams, once or twice daily with warm water.

Cautions:

1. Not used during Pregnancy or Postpartum.
2. Only used in excess conditions; not for deficiency. And only for cases with Heat and Phlegm.
3. Not used long term.
