Preparation:

Function:

Clears Wind, Resolves the Exterior, Resists Poison

Use:

Principle Tibetan Medicine for treatment of Cold, Influenza and other acute infections and epidemics.
Acute Respiratory Viruses such as Influenza with Fever, Headache, Joint pain, runny Nose etc.
1. Cold, Influenza, Acute Respiratory Virus (preventative and treatment)
2. Epidemic and Infectious diseases
3. Acute Wind-Heat with Sore Throat, Cough, Sneezing, Fever
4. Congestion of the sinuses and pharynx
5. Fever, High Fever
6. Anthrax
7. Stabbing headache
8. Stabbing pain in the joints
9. Gall stones
10. Swelling of the Breasts
11. Swelling of the Testicles
12. Weeping Ulcers

Dose:

2–3 grams with hot water

Cautions:

1. Avoid overdose and long-term use.
2. Not used during Pregnancy or in the very young. However, the Amdo Compendium says it can even be used in small doses to pregnant women, the elderly and children.

Lo gyon ma is the Leaf-clad Goddess (Parnasabari in Sanskrit) who is believed to avert Epidemic diseases. Hence, her name is applied to these Pills which do the same.
