Pimpinella anisum

Cinnamon

Mastic

Pistacia lentiscus

Gum Arabic

Acacia arabica

Siler Montane

Siler montanum

10 grains ea.

Preparation:

Beat; steep in 6 oz. of Senna infusion for 10 hours, then strain.

Function:

Purges Mixed Humors

Use:

Obstinate and complex diseases associated with Mixed Humors

Dose:

The above can be divided into 2 equal doses, to be taken once daily

Cautions:

None noted

Modifications:

1. Mesue had a very similar version that added Lapis Lazuli and Camphor, which was formed into Pills
