Preparation:

Prepare a standard infusion

Function:

clears Wind and Heat, calms the Mind and Nerves, promotes Rest

Use:

1. Colds and Flu
2. Insomnia, Sleeplessness
3. Tension headache

Dose:

Drink a cupful hot and cover in bed to promote sweat in Colds and Flu; drink a cupful or 2 in the evening to promote rest and sleep.

Comment:

This was of French origin, called Tisane de Sept Fleurs and was prescribed by French doctors in the 19th and early 20th centuries.
