Rhubarb

Rheum palmatum

Cassia pulp

Cassia fistula

3 drams

Aloes washed

Aloe lota

1 scruple

Preparation:

Infuse the first 3 medicines in 6 oz. of Maidenhair water; press, strain, then dissolve in the Cassia and Aloe.

Function:

Purges Phlegm and Bile

Use:

Used for Phlegm and Bile disease

Dose:

2–3 oz.
