**** Khams kyi ru rta (Vladimiria souliei) can also be used (Men Tsee Kang). Both of these are types of Costus. The Amdo Compendium lists Costus (Ru rta).

Powder and form Honey Pills.

Function:

Clears Stomach Heat, Clears Damp-Heat

Use:

Reflux, Heartburn, Bitter taste in the mouth, Headache
“Especially good to cure diseases of the head due to Phlegm (Bad kan) and Bile (Mkhris) and Stomach heat”
1. Headache
2. Dizziness (from reflux of bad blood into the stomach)
3. Heartburn
4. Vomiting of acidic liquid or Bile,
5. Diarrhea from Bile

6. Cough with difficult to expectorate, dirty-colored sputum
7. Shortness of Breath
8. Constriction of the chest,

Dose:

2–3 grams
