Uses:

1. Strengthens Kidneys, Tonifies Yang:

-Impotence, Premature Ejaculation, Spermatorrhea
-Urinary frequency, Incontinence
-Infertility in male or female, irregular Menstruation
-Menopausal Syndrome
-Cold pain in the lower abdomen, Back pain and weakness
-‘reinforces Essence’ (Ming Yi Bie Lu); increases Qi (Shen Nong Ben Cao)

2. Clears Wind-Damp, Benefits the Sinews and Bones:

-wind-cold painful obstruction of the bones and joints (especially with Kidney deficiency)
-lower back pain, weakness and tension
-stiffness, difficulty moving; weakness of the legs

Dose:

Decoction: 6–15 grams
