Classifications:

A. Clear Exterior Wind-Heat

Uses:

1. Clears Wind-Heat:

-Fever, Cold, Flu, sore Throat
-nasal obstruction, Sinusitis
-also to promote expression of rashes in Measles etc., and for Pruritus
-Trigeninal neuraligia from Liver Heat or Wind-Heat

2. Clears Liver Heat, Clears the Eyes:

-Headache, Vertigo;
-red, sore, dry or painful eyes from Liver Heat or Wind-Heat

3. Clears Heat, Moistens the Lungs:

-Lung heat Cough with or without dryness, or with thick, yellow sputum

4. Cools the Blood, Stops Bleeding

-Vomiting Blood

Dried Leaf in Decoction: 4–9 grams
