Preparation:

Powder
To prepare a decoction, boil the herbs in water until reduced to one-quarter.

Function:

Clears Heat, resolves Fever

Use:

1. Chronic Fever
2. High Fever associated with all three Dosas (Humors)
3. Cold, influenza, Sore Throat
4. Asthma, Bronchitis
5. has also been used for Gout and Arthritic pain

Dose:

2–4 grams of powder
20–40mls of decoction
