Western Tradition

Nausea

1. Infusion of Ginger (Ginger tea) is the most useful first line of treatment for simple Nausea. If it needs to be stronger, boil it a little.

Stop Vomiting

1. Take a little piece of Aloe in Cold water before eating and it will prevent Vomiting.
2. Lemon seed beaten with Honey and taken (Siddha)
3. Ginger, Cardamon, Orange peel
4. Cumin seed (4 grams), Cardamon (2 grams) prepare a decoction.
5. Cardamon, Aloeswood, Aniseed for Hiccup, Nausea, Vomiting and loss of apopetite from Cold (Secrets of Alexis)
6. Severe vomiting, take Sulphur and Deer Horn powder (equal parts), powder and give in a soft egg and it will stop the vomiting. (The Secrets of Alexis, 1615)
