Preparation:

Powder and form Pills.

Function:

Clears Damp, purges Melancholy, resolves Tumors

Use:

1. Uterine Fibroids
2. may be used for other types of Fibroid Tumors

Dose:

1 scruple–1⁄2 dram

Cautions:

This is a potent formula to be used carefully.

Modifications:

If this were recreated, Agaric could be used in 2 1⁄2 dram doses, and the Hellebore lowered to 1 1⁄2 drams.

Comment:

The source text, Aristotles Masterpiece (The Works of Aristotle), written in 1684, was a book of Midwifery, falsely claiming to be written by Aristotle. It possibly references Aristotle but is certainly not by him. This formula contaions Hiera Picra, which was apparently not known at the time of Aristotle.
