Preparation:

Crush the Bdellium, add the other herbs in powder, then add the Castor oil a little at a time and pound together to form a uniform mass, from which make pills.
According to some sources, the Triphala should be powdered, boiled in water, then the Sulphur, Bdellium and Castor oil are added and boiled to the consumption of the water, and when a suitable consistency is achieved, pills are made.

Function:

Warms the Kidneys, clears Wind-Damp, strengthens Bones and Joints

Use:

1. Lower Back Pain
2. Arthritis including degenerative Arthritis
3. Rheumatism
4. Sciatica, Hip pain
5. Knee pain and deformity from chronic Arthritis
6. Gout
7. Paraplegia
8. Cough and Bronchitis
9. Skin diseases with itching
10. Premature greying of hair
11. Hair loss

Dose:

2–3 grams daily in divided doses. (API)
According to other sources:
500mg–2 grams, three times dialy
In children: 250–500mg, 2–3 times daily.
