* According to some sources, Tribulus and Bdellium are used in dose of 7 parts each, the remaining herbs, 1 part each.
Preparation:
Coarsely grind Tribulus seed. Soak in 8 liters of water for 24 hours, then boil gently to half. Removes form the heat and strain through muslin cloth. Return to the pot, add the purified Bdellium and boil to a suitable consistency, then add the remaining herbs in powder.. This is then formed into pills.
Function:
Strengthens the Kidneys, opens Obstructions, promotes Urine
Use:
1. Frequent Urine
2. Turbid Urine
3. Dysuria, difficult Urination
4. Urinary obstructions
5. Kidney and Bladder stones
6. Diabetic Nephropathy
7. Chronic Nephritis, Pyelonephritis
8. Leukorrhea
9. Gout
10. nourishes Semen, support male sexual health
11. Prostate disorders
12. Neurological diseases (Vata / Wind diseases)
Dose:
2–3 grams daily in divided doses (API)
Cautions:
None noted
Modifications:
1. Male sexual disorders, combine with Shilajit
2. Prostatitis, add Sandalwood and Coriander seed
3. Urinary Stones, take with Punarnavadi Guggulu
