Sug smel (Green Cardamon)

Elettaria cardamomum

Pi pi ling (Long Pepper)

20 grams ea.

Preparation:

Originally intended as a decoction (Thang), it is now mostly prescribed in Pills or Powder form.
Form Pills the size of a Pea.
Also used in Powder form, in the proportion of Pomegranate (250), Cinnamon (100), Cardamon (45), Long Pepper (50)

Function:

Benefits Digestion, warms Stomach

Use:

1. Indigestion
2. Poor digestion
3. Poor absorption and assimilation
4. Nausea
5. Loss of Appetite
6. Cardiac pain
7. Kidney pain
8. Lumbar pain

Dose:

3 pills (the size of a pea), morning and evening with hot water
2–3 grams of the Powder

Cautions:

None noted

Modifications:

If Ginger is added, it becomes Pomegranate 5
