* sometimes Galangal (Kaempferia galanga) or Lesser Galangal (Alpinia officinarum) is used in place of Ginger

Preparation:

Powder and form pills of 500mg each.

Function:

Benefits Digestion, clears Phlegm and Damp, warms Stomach

Use:

A digestive tonic, especially for Phlegm/Damp constitutions
especially good to enhance the warmth of the stomach and cures rLung [Wind] in the Heart and Kidney disease”
1. Indigestion (caused by loss of digestive Heat / Stomach cold)
2. Nausea
3. Loss of Appetite
4. Poor absorption and assimilation
5. Cold-type Bloating of the Abdomen
6. Obesity
7. Cold extremities
8. Cold-type Kidney or Lumbar pain
9. Also Wind a
ffecting the Heart with confusion, depression, insomnia

Dose:

3 pills (1 1⁄2 grams) in the morning with hot water on an empty Stomach

Cautions:

Avoid in Fever, Gastritis, Hyperacidity and Gastroduodenal Ulcer.
