Function:
Settles Wind, stops Spasm, calms the Mind and Nerves
Use:
1. Childhood Epilepsy
2. Childhood Convulsions not associated with Fever
Dose:
1⁄2–1 scruple for a child; 1⁄2 dram for an adult. This was to be used by applying to the forehead, and to the sutures of the skull.
