This appears to have been used for a type of Hysteric Passion with an insatiable and foul Appetite. It may also refer to Pica, the unusual cravings experienced by some women during Pregnancy. In addition, it may be of use in the excessive cravings of some Women, either related to Emotion, hormones, or the pre-menstrual period.
