Function:
Clears Cold and Damp, regulates Qi, benefits the Stomach
Use:
This is a gentle and pleasant medicine for the Stomach which is both strengthening and regulating.
1. Stomach Pain
2. Indigestion
3. Wind, bloating
4. Colic
Dose:
This is sprinkled on Toast which is then dipped in wine, and eaten in the morning.
It can also be taken in doses of 1⁄4–1⁄2 teaspoon, or 1 scruple–1⁄2 dram
Cautions:
None noted
Modifications:
The sugar can be reduced to equal weight of the combined herbs. Honey could also be used in place of Sugar.
