Use:

1. Heat and Irritation of the Urinary system: Strangury, Dysuria
2. Chronic Dry Cough

3. Chronic Heat and Inflammation of the Stomach and Bowels
4. Gastro-duodenal Ulcers
5. Ulcerative Colitis

Dose:

3–5 grams

Cautions:

None noted

Modifications:

1. Heat and Inflammation of the Urinary system, it may be taken with 4 Greater Cold seeds
2. Chronic Cough, take with a decoction of Raisins
