Terminalia chebula

Preparation:

Powder. It can be made into a confection with Honey and Ghee

Function:

Moistens, nourishes Yin, settles Wind

Use:

1. Tonic for Wind constitutions
2. Settles Wind generated by dryness or Yin deficiency

Dose:

1–2 grams of the powder twice daily; 1 teaspoonful of the confection

Cautions:

None noted

Modifications:

1. If there is cold, Trikatu (Ginger, Long and Black Pepper) is added.
