Sugar

Saccharum

1⁄2 oz.

Preparation:

Tartar is prepared as follows: steep 2 drams of White Tartar in white wine for 4 or 5 hours; dry, and powder. Mix the powdered Tartar with the remaining herbs in fine powder.

Function:

Clears Damp, warms, promotes Urine

Use:

Obesity, both to prevent and treat

Dose:

Take 1 dram, 2 or 3 times weekly in the morning with Pea broth
