Function:

Purges Phlegm

Use:

Used to Purge Phlegm in all types of Phlegm diseases. This is a major medicine for purging Phlegm. It may be given for Asthma, Cough with excess phlegm, excess Phlegm of the Stomach etc.

Dose:

3–6 grams with hot water

Cautions:

None noted

Modifications:

1. It is stronger and more effective if Mastic is added. This forms Powder of Turbith of Avicenna
