Uses:
1. Moves the Blood, Clears Heat, Promotes Healing:
-internal Wounds of the Stomach or Lungs
-Internal Bleeding
-taken internally for chronic Ulcers
-Cough, Consumption
2. Benefits the Stomach:
-poor digestion, lack of appetite
-griping, abdominal pain
-Diarrhea
3. Settles Wind, Stops Spasms:
-Paralysis, Convulsions, Dizziness
-Hysteria
-poor Vision
4. Externally:
-Wounds, Trauma, Bruises, Swellings (oil in which the herb is boiled)
-the juice sniffed clears Phlegm from the head
Dose:
Infusion: 1–2 teaspoonfuls per cup
Of the Juice: 1–2 spoonfuls in Wine for internal Wounds and Bleeding
Substitutes:
For Internal Wind disorders such as Dizziness and Convulsions, Cowslip is superior
