Function:

Clears Heat, Resists Poison

Use:

“This medicine is like a hammer, instantly breaking heat due to excitement of the Blood” (Men Tsee Kang)
1. Contagious and Infectious Diseases
2. Acute Fever
3. Measles
4. Blood Heat (including overwork, sunstroke etc.)
5. Diseases due to Evil Spirits / Demons (‘Byung po)

Dose:

1 gram

Cautions:

1. Due to Mercury it should not be used for more than 2 weeks without a break in treatment. Avoid overdose
2. Not used during Pregnancy

Modifications:

For use in the West today, it can be prepared without Mercury.
