Preparation:

Pills

Function:

Clears Liver Heat, Cools the Blood

Use:

Inflammation of the Spleen, Kidneys and Liver
1. Liver Fever; Fever associated with Liver heat
2. Heat of the Blood and Liver
3. Liver disease

4. Inflammation of the Spleen or Kidneys

Dose:

1000–1500mg after food; for heat of Blood and Bile, take at noon and midnight (up to three times per day).

Cautions:

Not used during Pregnancy

Modifications:

1. There is a variation, called ‘Excellent Safflower 7’ which omits Bezoar, Adhatoda, Dracocephalum and Shilajit and adds Aristolchia Ba le ka, Swertia Tig Ta, Chebula and Ephedra Tse ldum. It has similar indications for Liver disorders including damage to the Liver.
