Dragons Blood

Daemonorops draco

Sage

Salvia officinalis

Rose

Rosa gallica

1 dram ea.

Preparation:

Boil in Smith’s Water, strain, add Hog’s grease and boil gently to a salve.

Function:

Astringent

Use:

1. Hernias
2. Aneurism
3. Varicose veins

Dose:

Apply topically. If used for Hernia it was traditionally used with a Truss.
