175 grams (10 ½–16 ½ grams)

Li shi (Clove)

Eugenia caryophyllus

33 grams (5 grams)

Sga (Ginger)

Zingiber officinalis

10 grams (5 grams)

Preparation:

Prepared as a decoction in Cancer treatment, using the doses given in brackets, in the following manner:
Boil Aconite in 400 mls water for 2 hours; add hot water to the resulting decoction to make 300 mls, then add the remaining ingredients and boil half an hour. Strain and take in 3 equal doses over the day. Do not use metal utensils when decocting
It can also be prepared as Pills.

Moves Qi, Resolves Masses

Use:

Used for Cancer of the Gastrointestinal tract, Breast and Uterus; it has been applied in a variety of Cancers.
“Malignant neoplasms of the digestive organs, mammary gland and uterus; the use of this medication is especially recommended in early forms of the disease, although there is evidence of the high effectiveness of this drug even in inoperable patients” (Kosoburov)

Dose:

2 grams twice daily
Used for Cancer, the dosage may be increased as required.

Cautions:

1. Avoid overdose
2. During use avoid Eggs, sours and cold foods and drinks.

Modifications:

1. A common modification is to use Dang Gui (Angelica sinensis) for Selinum and Paeonia Bai Shao for Mirabilis. In this form it has been used for Cancer in Russia with good results.
2. There are 2 versions of this formula, one adding Ginger, and one without Ginger. When Ginger is added, the dosage of Aconite (in decoction) is up to 16 ½ grams.
