Preparation:

Powder and form Pills.

Function:

Clears Wind, Warms the Lungs, Stops Cough

Use:

Cough from Cold and Wind with clear or white sputum, pale face
“the best medicine for rlung [Wind] in the Lungs”.
1. Cough
2. Bronchitis
3. Cold Lung diseases
4. Lung weakness (from Cold)

Dose:

2–3 grams with warm water

Cautions:

None noted

Modifications:

A Mongolian variation listed by Kosoburov lists Swertia (Tig ta) in place of Nutmeg.
