Preparation:

Powder and form Pills.

Function:

Clears Liver Heat

Use:

“Recommended as the best treatment for Liver diseases”
1. Liver Heat, “Liver Fever”
2. Especially useful for Hepatitis

Dose:

2 grams

Cautions:

Use cautiously in a Cold and Weak Stomach

Modifications:

Birthwort can be replaced with a half quantity of Rhubarb root. (Rhubarb was used to replace Birthwort by Mesue). Other substitutes can be used (see under Birthwort).
