Preparation:
Powder and form pills, each weighing 500mg.
Function:
Clears Heat, detoxifies Poison, cools the Blood
Use:
“especially this medicine cures diseases of the Stomach, Large and Small Intestines, and also stops hot Diarrhea”
Heat in the Stomach from Blood and Bile.
1. Heat and inflammation of the Stomach or Intestines
2. Acute Gastritis
3. Acute Gastroenteritis
4. Acute Diarrhea from Heat/Bile
5. Gastric Ulcers
6. Bleeding from the Stomach
7. Fever from Bile
8. Also delayed Menstruation
Dose:
4–6 pills (2–3 grams), 2–3 times daily
Cautions:
Not used during Pregnancy.
Modifications:
1. When mixed with an equal amount of Garuda 5, it form Brag-khyung. This is used for Diarrhea with severe pain, Stomach Heat amd infectious Diarrhea.
