Sarsaparilla	Smilax sarsaparilla	1 oz. ea.
China root	Smilax glabra	6 drams
Sassafras	Laurus sassafras	4 drams
Elder flower	Sambucus nigra	2 drams
Cassia Wood	Cinnamonum cassia

Preparation:

Bruise the herbs and cover with Wine Vinegar enough to cover by 4 finger breadths.

Function:

Promotes Sweat, Clears Wind and Heat

Use:

1. Cold and Flu
2. Catarrh
3. Syphilis and Venereal Diseases
4. Elephantiasis
5. Headache
6. Beginning of Edema
7. Difficult Urination, Stones
8. Stimulates Digestion

Dose:

2 or 3 spoonfuls in water or a suitable infusion
