Preparation:

Decoct the Senna in the juice, removing the scum; then, with sufficient Sugar form a Syrup.

Function:

Clears Heat, opens Obstructions, purges Excess

Use:

Apoplexy

Dose:

2 oz.

Cautions:

None noted

Modifications:

The author suggested substituting Borage with Bugloss or Balm may be used similarly.
