Comment:

Gonorrhea and Spermatorrhea were traditionally called ‘Running of the Reins’ or a ‘Flux’ (Leakage) of the Kidneys. Spermatorrhea is a leaking of Semen which may be at Night while asleep, or may leak during the day. This is a deficiency condition that requires Astringent medicines along with medicine to strengthen the Kidneys. Infectious Gonorrhea is associated with Heat and Toxin, and requires medicines appropriated to that end. The above formula is used for the latter.
