Preparation:

Decoct in 26 oz. water (or Chalybeat water) to the consumption of one-third. Strain, dissolve in sugar 10 drams, then clarify and aromatize

Function:

Astringent, strengthens

Use:

1. Diarrhea
2. Dysentery

Dose:

1⁄2 oz.
